My
passion for photography started as a child, while traveling around
Britain with my parents, watching them capture those special moments
with their classic German Vito-RF camera.
I was also captivated by the Cinematic Medium at an early age
and was particularly intrigued by the Panoramic vistas found within
the classic films of such legendary Directors as, Sir David Lean
and Stanley Kubrick.
It was through these special experiences, that I became enamoured
by the magic of the Photographic Image.
A few years after relocating to Canada,
I purchased my first Nikon Film SLR and started experimenting
with photography.
During the late Eighties I studied Film & Video Production
at Toronto Humber College, passing with Honours.
I began working in the Toronto Film Industry, engaged in location
photography and research.
I continued further studies at The Canadian Film Institute (Ottawa),
while also pursuing my interest in travel photography.
My ongoing photographic passion has expanded
with an original collection of Urban & Natural Scenic images,
which attempt to explore the symmetry, form and essence of the
moment.
It was in response to public interest in these original photos,
that I made a special selection of them available as Signed Prints.
Many of these have since found their way into Canadian homes.
I continue to explore the Film & Digital
photographic medium, adding new works to the collection.
